Graphics Summer Picnic

When you are hosting a picnic and inviting 8,500 of your closest friends and coworkers – yes, you read that right! – you had better have a lot of food, a lot of fun, and a lot of space to work with! And when we say a lot, we mean 9,000 ears of corn; 4,500 bags of Kettle Corn; 3,000 chairs under 29 soaring tents; dozens of baby animals, including a baby zebra; and more than 40 inflatables and carnival rides! Putting together a festival of this magnitude for this publishing giant took a full week of set-up, but the results were nothing short of stunning. Even P.T. Barnum would be impressed!

For the first time, this global company entrusted the planning of its beloved family event to an outside company, and UE was honored to be part of bringing this event to life on the sprawling grounds of one of the company’s local manufacturing plants.

This delightful day wasn’t just for the kiddos – adults were treated to delicious food from the company’s culinary department, and an out-of-commission fire truck dispensed tap malt beverages and sodas from hometown breweries. Not one, but two bands kept the festivities rocking all day long! This day of big-top fun is one to go down in the record books, and UE was thrilled to help raise the tents to bring this extravaganza to town!
