Event Planning Photos  »  Holiday Party VI

Bathed in electric purple and metallic hues, this upscale holiday party hosted by a successful Milwaukee-area financial services company was anything but conservative or stodgy. Underwood Events was hired to conceptualize and execute the entire event, from the initial planning until the last guest departed that evening. Employees were treated to an extravagant experience that demonstrated the company's appreciation for their contributions over the past year.

Underwood Events selected the Milwaukee County Historical Center as the venue for the festivities, the first time in several years that the holiday party was held offsite. Its opulent, turn-of-the-century architecture was a striking contrast to the party's modern and dynamic theming. Framed by grand two-story pillars and a large walk-in safe left behind from another era when the building was the Second Ward Savings Bank, it was the perfect backdrop to this upscale event, which featured a exquisite menu of lobster tail, scallops, Asian short ribs and Morel mushroom risotto. In addition to this classically delectable fare, dessert was served with a deliciously different twist. Ice cream cones were topped with custom flavors created just for the event, and liquor-filled strawberries were made more decadent as they were hand-dipped in chocolate by guests.

An 11-piece orchestra, straight in from the Windy Cindy, kept guests on their feet the entire night, a joyous and energetic close to a successful year.
