Hawaii is the island of perpetual summer, so it was a fitting theme for this client’s summer party. Employees and friends gathered on the grounds of a private residence set along the sparkling waters of Pewaukee Lake for a night of conversation, delicious food and beverages and live music. Underwood Events did the rest, bringing a Big Island luau to them.

A custom-designed Hawaiian print greeted guests upon their arrival, adorning the signage and the scrims that lined two large tents cantilevered over the property's backyard. The hot lava orange color palette, inspired by the Hawaiian print, was carried richly through the linens, floral arrangements, and seating areas. Guests enjoyed a delicious Hawaiian-themed menu as well as tropical Mai Tai and Blue Hawaiian beverages as they sat under thatched tiki umbrellas.

Underwood Events designed and oversaw every detail of the event and spent three full days onsite overseeing the staging, tenting, lighting, and catering.

It was quite a ho`olaule`a, or celebration - and an exceptional evening for the client and Underwood Events.
